A sea change/carved from clay/plus shards of ancestral pottery/explained on museum labels/organized by curators/via hand-written essays/containing spiraling clouds, flowers and deer/streaking lightning blessings of rain/in celebration of turkeys and turtles in vibrant paint/modulating flames as dreamscapes/over generations of water jars/storage jars/bowls and bean pots/replete with scrapes, fissures, bumps, cracks and indentations/of a complicated past/capturing ancestral awareness…
